Wildland Red Card Class
S130/190 L180 I100 Wildland Firefighter 2 Redcard Class

Note: A redcard expires after 5 years of inactivity. You need to use the basic skills learned in this class at least once within those 5 years to keep your card current.

This course provides the required classes to acquire your Redcard. A redcard is needed to safely and legally fight any fire that is deemed a “wildfire” under WAC 296.305 – 07001-19

S130 – Core wildland skills class. This includes classroom and practical application
S190 – Basic fire behavior and weather class provided by National Weather Service
L180 – Human factors on the fireline. Includes fireline supervision and communication.
I 100 - Introduction to Incident Command. Students will need to take the online course or provide a certificate that they have had the class previous.
